Aerator (standard type) is found in almost all kitchen, lavatory and shower faucet. (See picture ‘1’). The typical aerator assembly consists of 3 parts, i.e. (a) metal housing (b) aerator (c) washer. An aerator is a key component in the overall performance of the faucet. Aerators introduce air into the water stream to produce a stream soft to the touch and to reduce splash when the water strikes an object such as the bottom of the sink. Although water flow and pressure conditions vary from time to time, the ‘NEOPERL’ PCA maintains a splash-free water stream.

The Aerator that goes with standard faucet doesn’t have a water saving function. Hence, the flow rate increases as the pressure goes up or vice-versa. With this scenario, a high volume of water is wasted. (See picture ‘2’) (a) Standard Aerator, (b) 'Neoperl' PCA.

Working Principle of 'Neoperl' PCA

The secret behind the outstanding performance of the ‘Neoperl’ PCA is the O-ring; it maintains a constant flow rate regardless of the ever changing water pressure.

How does O-ring work?

A rubber O-ring will compress on an engineered seating area to reduce the water passage when the pressure increases and the same O-ring will relax (not compress) to open the water passage when the pressure decreases.

How do you test the water-saving function of 'Neoperl' PCA?

TIME and VOLUME

It takes 10 minutes to fill up a 10-liter container using a faucet with standard aerator. Under the same time, you will notice that the faucet with 'Neoperl' PCA has only reached about half of the same container. This only proves that with 'Neoperl' PCA, your water consumption is decreased by 50%. This simple demonstration says it all: 'Neoperl' PCA is a good water saving device that will let you save a lot of money with continued use.

Who are the users of 'Neoperl' PCA in the Philippines
Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Sofitel Philippine Plaza Hotel, Diamond Hotel and Boracay Regency are just some of the users of Neoperl PCA through the introduction of Dexterton Corporation.

In 2004, the new foreigner resident manager of Mandarin Oriental Hotel was disappointed when he found out that the faucets in all 500 rooms were not equipped with ‘Neoperl’ PCA. This paved the way to not only let thousands of their visitors enjoy the paradise Boracay Island can offer but also the feeling of comfort while in their respective rooms.

Diamond Hotel is another addition among the proud users of Neoperl PCA. They also bought hundreds of this product during their recent renovation.

Installation Procedure

  • Free installation within Metro Manila for more than 5 units per transaction.
  • To avoid damaging the aerator casing, it is best to first cover it with a soft cloth, then use a wrench to dismantle the old one. After which, insert the 'Neoperl' PCA and re-attach the aerator casing. Please note that it is still best if you would use the Aerator Housing Opener to avoid unnecessary damages on your faucet.
  • You can purchase the Aerator Housing Opener or rent it with minimal fee. As much as we want to please our clients, giving free sample would incur a large cost for the company.
