Ferrucio Laviani
Born in Cremona, Italy in 1960. He got his diploma in 1984 from the “Politecnico di Design” of Milan. He got his University degree in 1986 from the “Politecnico of Milan”
1986: He took part in the “12 nuovi MEMPHIS” collection.
He was one of the founders of the SOLID group and designs part of its collection; in 1988 he designed part of the second collection which was exhibited at the following galleries:

He began his collaboration with DOLCE&GABBANA:
he designed and developed the “concept” for the cornershops which would then be created world-wide;
he planned the interiors of the new headquarters in Milan, Via Goldoni: showroom, offices, sales area, entertainment area, restaurant, private area. He has been in charge as Art Director designing “ad hoc” furniture and fixtures and carefully selecting other previously made items.
He planned and created the complete interior of a 1700 m² area, dedicated to men’s image, in Milan, Corso Venezia, “Palazzo Labus” and in particular he devoted himself to drawing the furniture and the fixtures for the boutique, the Martini bar, the “Sicilian Barbershop” and the grooming area.
